This ancestor of the modern golf ball was recast from the original 1899 mold and is encased in a lucite cube. The top and bottom of the ball read "PAT APR - REMADE - 11-99". The lucite block reads "Bramble Ball Replica - Cast from original 1899 mold - Especially for Chief Executives Forum - Gleneagles, Scotland - September, 1971".
The paperweight measures 2.5" on all sides, and weighs 3/4 lbs.
