Well,
it is another year (my twelfth) of selling used golf balls on Pricetronic. I
have found every one of these balls on my local golf course and
therefore know that none of them have been submerged in water. Just
take a look at my seller feedback for the last eleven years and you
can be assured there is no better value on used golf balls on Pricetronic
today. HERE IS 8 MINT AND 32 NEAR MINT SRIXON TRISPEED TOUR GOLF BALLS. Balls that I grade as MINT are the VERY BEST used golf balls that I sell. These balls will never have a cut or scuff mark on them, and the basic shine that a new ball has is still very evident. These MINT balls will play as new balls do. Balls that I grade as NEAR
MINT will have some defect or defects that keeps them from being
classified as MINT, my very best balls, but for all intents and
purposes they will behave as new balls do. There may be relatively
small areas where paint is missing or where there is discoloration,
perhaps a scuff mark(s) that may be noticeable but I feel is too
insignificant to have any affect on ball performance. In some cases
these NEAR MINT balls may not have as much of the new ball shine as
my MINT balls do. Any defect, in my judgment, would be a non-factor
in terms of ball performance, and in most cases no more than a
small factor in terms of aesthetics. Some of these balls will
have player identification markings and/or logos on them, ESPECIALLY
Pro V1 AND Pro V1x BALLS. If this is something that bothers you,
I would strongly suggest buying brand new balls. Personally, I like
player ID markings and/or logos for several reasons. They help you
identify your golf ball much more easily, and in addition, many of
these logos are imaginative and very cool works of art. Perhaps
most importantly, NONE of these balls were "water balls" as
I found each and every one of them on my golf course which,
thankfully, has no water, but plenty of trees. This is very important
in buying used golf balls as research has shown that golf balls are
very much affected by being submerged in water. US Army research reports that golf balls absorb water that
cannot be removed and this affects a permanent change. Recent testing
by Golf Digest found a golf ball submerged in water loses six yards
after one week, 12 yards after three months and 15 yards after six
months. 15 yards is a LOT of distance, usually a club and a half.
Virtually ALL of the sites that sell used golf balls on Pricetronic are
commercial outfits which get their used balls from dredging ponds and
lakes because that is where they can collect thousands of balls in a
very short amount of time. They may look pretty, but you can be
virtually assured they have absorbed water. This is why it makes
sense to buy used balls from a seller who does it as a hobby and not
as a business. In
short, these NEAR MINT balls play virtually the same as new balls do,
provide an excellent value for the price. and may be the best
deal on used golf balls on Pricetronic today. Note
that this is a picture of the actual golf balls you will
receive, something the big commercial sellers do not provide. In
other words, you can actually see what you will get before you buy! Shipping IS FREE
to anywhere in the lower 48 states and Paypal is the method of
payment. I t
may be the case that I have additional balls of exactly the same
make, model, and quality as the ones listed here. If so, I offer
these additional balls at a discount, the amount of the discount
depending on the number of additional balls purchased. If this is
something that interests you, contact me before your purchase to find
out what additional discounted balls I may have.
