The Srixon Z-Star is a three-piece urethane while the Srixon Z-Star XV is a 4-piece urethane golf ball. They are both “Tour” (i.e., PGA TOUR) offerings. It is played on the PGA TOUR with some regularity. The Z-Star is a mid-launch and mid spin ball. Although Z-Star and Z-Star XV are made quite similar, the XV with it's 4-piece design offers more distance while the 3-Piece Z-Star offers more spin control.
